Welcome on the website of Campingplatz Am Niemetal. Since april 2009 we are the proud new owners of this beautiful located campsite where Rest, Peace and Hospitality are naturally.

With its 80 places, of which max. only 20 year-places this is the ideal family campsite. The campsite is surrounded by woods and mountains and is divided into different fields with enough privacy.

Campingplatz Am Niemetal is located in the beautiful nature of the valley around the river Nieme. From the campsite you can take a walk in what is known as the Weserbergland, the region where fairy tales as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella find their origin. The idyllic river landscape lends itself to walking and cycling.

For the real nature lover, there is a lot to see. You can see beautiful birds in the air and in the trees, you can hear a woodpecker or you might catch a glimpse of a deer or boar. In the river you will find trout, swimming up the stream.

Even for people who don’t have their own caravan or tent, we offer camping opportunities in the form of simple cabins. In the "back to basic" log cabin you will find a place to sleep for four persons, a table with chairs and more. On the cabin-page you will find more information.

In 2009 the bathrooms are completely renovated and will meet the requirements of a todays camper. Warm water is free and in the pre-season the building will be heated.

In the Gaststätte you are welcome for a cup of coffee, a cold beer or a good meal. Here you can also buy things you forgot to buy like milk, tea, coffee, …

Campingplatz Am Niemetal is a great campsite for a short vacation, but also during an extended holiday you will not be bored one minute!
